If an image is large enough, it can be easier to edit or print it, but if you need to upload or send it, its large size can be a drawback. Some applications can be slowed down when using large images, so the ideal solution is to resize them. Resize Pictures Plus will perform this task on multiple images at once. It also comes with features for placing watermarks, renaming or converting images.

The program can be used for a certain period of time before buying it, but the trial version will not restrict you in any way. You can use the software's full capabilities without any nag screens or watermarks placed on your converted images. The setup package is only 1.56 Mb large and installing it on your computer is a smooth process.

After loading your images, they will be listed on the left side of the interface. Details, such as format, dimensions, color, file size and DPI are displayed beneath their names. The original and processed pictures can be viewed on the larger area on the right, under separate tabs. You can choose a preset size (640x480 or 320x240) from a drop menu and select an output path, beneath the files list. The conversion process can be started by clicking a button in the same area.

The core settings can be found on a separate window, after clicking the Settings hyperlink in the upper right area of the window. Here you can set a custom size for the image, select a resizing type and mode, choose to fill blank spaces with a certain color and more. Images can be watermarked, renamed and converted to a different format. The options can be found under separate tabs on the settings window.

You can use text or an image as a watermark, set it at a certain angle and position and more. If you want to place text, you can select a preset text like the file's name, the current time, certain EXIF information and other elements. Presets are also available when renaming an image. You can rename files, using the time, date and perform other settings. The output format can be selected from a drop menu. Resize Pictures Plus is capable of converting images to JPG, BMP, PNG, TIFF and other formats, using the original quality or compression.

Pros

There are enough features to perform various tasks on images. They are compacted in a small window and they are very easy to use. The conversion process will take a few seconds and the trial version will not place its own watermark on the results and it will not restrict you to a maximum number of images.

Cons

It is not possible to move or rotate the watermark by clicking and dragging over the image's preview. You will not have any problems with oversized images, thanks to Resize Pictures Plus. It is an all in one software for resizing, converting, watermarking and more.
